Samara Jaffe
President
Samara joined the company in September of 2007 as SVP, Product and Business Development. Samara’s impact on the business was evident over a short period of time and she assumed the position of President in January 2008.
Samara has a wealth of experience in business development, business operations and online product development, from her 8 plus year career with AOL. She is well versed in the classifieds space having managed operations for multiple verticals during her tenure including autos, careers, real estate and personals. Samara is also responsible for successfully closing hundreds of millions of dollars in online commerce, advertising and content transactions for AOL.
Most recently, Samara was the General Manager for AOL Real Estate and AOL Careers, where she was responsible for revenue growth of over 40% year over year and the development of a differentiated consumer experience for AOL Real Estate.
Samara holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism, with a minor in sociology from University of Southern California.
Kenneth Gorden
Director, Online Product Development
Kenneth has been with the company since December 2002 and has served as the Director, Online Product Development since May 2007. As Director of Online Product Development, Kenneth is responsible for the development and deployment of the company’s web based properties.
A seasoned technology executive with a successful track record, Kenneth brings over 11 years of experience building, managing and scaling development teams and oversees the daily operations of the company’s Technology teams.
Prior to joining ForeclosedHomes.com, Kenneth was the Senior Web Developer at CareGuide Inc., an elder care management company, where he was responsible for art direction and leading the web development department. Before CareGuide, Kenneth was Manager of Information Systems for Selective Media Inc., a San Francisco based web development firm.
Chris Dale
Manager, Human Resources
Chris joined the company in May of 2007 as Manager of Human Resources. He oversees all aspects of the company’s human resources department for the corporate offices in Santa Barbara, CA.
Chris’ human resources career started with Robinsons-May over nine years ago and he has since worked with some of the nation’s largest retail firms including, Saks Fifth Avenue and The Home Depot. Prior to joining the team, Chris managed the human resources functions for the more than 600 employees on the historic Santa Monica Pier.
Chris earned his Masters Degree in Organizational Management from Antioch University in Santa Barbara in 2001.
